My esports journey began when I was 17. I was playing FIFA at RDB Esports, a great opportunity to develop myself as a player. Unfortunately, the organization had to close due to financial difficulties. That was a disappointment, but also a turning point. I quickly realized that I might not have been good enough to break through as a player, but that my strength lay elsewhere: in mentoring others.

I discovered my passion for coaching and went in that direction. Things have moved quickly since then. In recent years, I've become increasingly active in the world of esports. Not as a player, but as a coach, mentor, and mentor for talent. I'm now active as an esports coach at NAC Breda, among other places, and have also had the opportunity to work with organizations like Cercle Brugge, mCon esports, and within talent development programs at Papendal and the ETCG.

Besides coaching teams and individual players, I also regularly give workshops, courses, and clinics where I share my knowledge and experience. What I love most about this work? Seeing young players grow—not just in their gameplay, but also in their mindset, discipline, and self-confidence.

Besides coaching, I've also increasingly focused on content creation. In 2024, I decided to pursue this professionally. I now actively upload to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and have generated over 4 million views combined. This growth motivates me to continue combining content, coaching, and community.

With my company, NVB Esports, I want to take esports to the next level in a professional, accessible, and responsible way. Whether that's through a coaching session, a social media collaboration, or an event – I believe in the power of esports to connect, develop, and inspire people.
