My gaming journey began when I was 17. At the time, I played FIFA for RDB Esports, an organization where I was given the opportunity to further develop myself as a player. Unfortunately, that came to an end soon after when the organization had to close its doors due to financial circumstances. Although that was a disappointment, in hindsight it proved to be a major turning point in my career. I discovered that my greatest strength did not lie in playing at the highest level myself, but rather in guiding, analyzing, and developing other players.

That discovery led me to the world of coaching. From that moment on, I focused entirely on guiding talent and building a career within the esports world. In the years that followed, I grew into an esports coach for various organizations. Currently, I am active as an esports coach at NAC Breda, among others, and I have also collaborated with organizations such as RKC Waalwijk, BrabantSport, mCon Esports, and talent development programs like the Esports Talent Center Gelderland (ETCG) at Papendal. In these roles, I guide players on technical, tactical, and mental levels, helping them to get the most out of themselves.

In addition to my work as a coach, I provide workshops, courses, guest lectures, and clinics in which I share my knowledge of FC, esports, and responsible gaming. I also regularly attend major events, where I give workshops, organize FC activities, present tournaments, or introduce visitors to the world of esports. Furthermore, I am available as a presenter and shoutcaster, providing professional commentary and entertainment for events and FC tournaments in both Dutch and English.

What motivates me day after day is seeing people grow. Not only in their performance within the game, but also in their self-confidence, discipline, communication, and mindset. For me, esports is about much more than winning; it is an environment where people can develop themselves and create new opportunities.

In addition to coaching, I have also continued to develop myself as a content creator over the past few years. In 2025, I decided to approach my social media professionally. Since then, I have been active on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, where I create content about FC, esports, and gaming. My videos have now collectively garnered over 30 million views, and I reach thousands of gamers and football fans daily. This growth has shown me how powerful content can be to inspire and inform people, and to connect brands with the right target audience.

Through my own company, NVB Esports, all these worlds come together. I combine coaching, content creation, workshops, events, presentations, and corporate collaborations under one brand. My mission is to further grow esports in a professional, accessible, and responsible manner. Whether it involves mentoring a talent, producing content for a company, presenting an event, or setting up a creative campaign: I believe in the power of gaming to connect people, develop talent, and make brands visible in an authentic way.
